I'm using Win2000 (NT5). Has anyone done this with major side effects?

I really need it because I've noticed that some of my sites don't display as they did with IE4 and IE5 (using CSS). Can I use an old PC? I'm still at about 70-80% of users from IE5, but that could change with any new M$ stragegy. What are the memory requirements? Will it run on a 486?

I just need to use it for browser testing...

if you can run windows 2000 you should have no probs with ie 6.1

I am running 6.1 on my 2 yr old system running windows 98... although i have to say as a surfer i an not to impressed with ie6.1 i think i prefered the older version.
