Onslaught of the RealNames clones

Is anyone else getting UCEs from and answering questions about these folks?

Seems that there is a noticable increase in UCEs from these companies both to buy into their programs and to convince people they need to or could benefit from installing the app that makes the keywords work in IE.

Client inquiries about this stuff have been on the uptick as well, particularly those that don't like to change their sites and just want a real quick fix.

Anyone else notice this?

More so a couple months ago really Ski. When Real Names closed, there was a rash of these things floating around. I know I got several frantic calls from clients asking whether they should buy in on them or not.

Unless they can quote you where the traffic is coming from, with a full referral string and you can dig it up your self...I'd pass.
