The news sent shares of Hotel.com plunging $17.54, or nearly 30%,

Ouch!

Still making money, but I'm not keen on triple-digit P/E ratios:

Yikes! 30 percent? Thankfully, our stock market comes fully equipped with a "circuit filter" that stops trading whenever the shares of a company goes down 16% in a single trading day! :)

Since no one else has said it yet..

I believe the blame lies entirely on their advertising department and those horrible commercials they run.

The commercials have prevented me from using the site. Very low quality and looks shady. Makes me not want to deal with them. If you do a commercial at least give the appearance of credability.

The commercials remind me of something from the mid 80s. They are some of the worst commercials I have seen. I can't believe stuff like that ever gets green lighted.
