Recommended Amazon Alternatives?

I'm not too happy about the new $100 minimum on the Amazon affiliate program. Since I'm just getting my site going (and haven't made a single sale from them yet), I think I'd prefer to look for a new bookseller.
Any suggestions? What has worked the best for you - orders, revenue, etc.?

Your only options are bn.com and powells.com but the conversion rate for both of these is much lower.

Has anyone done well with Amazon's other product lines (anything but books)? I was looking to promote some of their lawn and garden products, has anyone done this to any success?
