"rent" niche ranked pages

like full-page 4-color magazine ads

I have 5 pages on my website for a realatively high value product that consistently draws a targeted audience. The pages are inter-linked and rank well in the major search engines.

The problem is, I cannot sell the product and quite frankly I am tired of trying. I would rather put my limited energy elsewhere on the website but I do not want to lose the traffic these pages generate.

Because the product is a natural tie-in with my website, what I would like to do, is "rent" these 5 pages to one other company that sells this product like full-page 4-color magazine advertisements. I do not want to be an affiliate or offer banner ads but would like to have a steady monthly income from offering this webspace.

Related industry full-page 4-color magazine ads run anywhere from a few hundred to several thousand dollars and are temporary. This "rental" would be a relatively stable, narrowly targeted, well ranked, ongoing venture.

Anyone done this? Any thoughts as to what to charge? Any foreseeable problems? How would I track click throughs (how would the advertiser know he is getting value for his money?)

Take a look at what the top bidders are paying for the various keywords that would be related to your site. Next contact the companies that are paying the top bids at overture and cut them a deal.

To track click-throughs, there are a number of cgi scripts out there that will do this for you.
