Specialist Affiliate Directories

Do they exist?

I would prefer to target particular groups of affiliates (business software) but have so far only been able to find those which are everything to everybody. Do specialist directories exist or should I just go ahead and post to the general directories and hope the specialists spot me amongst everything else?

go ahead and post in the general directories - the good ones will find you. Good affiliates have built in radars for good programs - get the word out even a little bit and they'll come to you.

Do the searches that your ideal prospect is most likely to use in looking for a solution such as yours and personally approach every top listed site that looks like a good match.

Almost all of the better affiliate directories are broken down by category. Make sure you're listed in the appropriate one and the specialists will find you.
