Increase in Sales volume this Christmas?

I thought business would pick up this season. But, my affiliate sales are still dry. Not making anything at all. Anyone have sales/traffic that increased?

I've seen a big increase on my Amazon sales in the last couple of weeks. Especially toys and games. I think it probably depends on what you sell.

Yeah, my sales "were" up (only slightly over last year) until this morning when I discovered an $1,800.00 mistake I made in a quote to a customer last March! I now have to pay the $1,800.00 to my supplier because I made the mistake ... so, well I guess sales are now down slightly from last year. :(

My amazon sales went from none last month to 7 this month.

Definetly industry dependant.

If your selling christmas related luxuries, then there should be a good to strong turn up in business. However after Christmas, that will go back to normal, and the pharma boys, will start to make more money, as everyone realises that they spent everything at christmas, and start worrying.

vik_c: Whether in jest or not, pharmacy sales do move up in January.

I'm seeing a jump in luxury goods sales.

One of my CJ affiliate links just produced a $73 commission. Someone bought $1026 worth of stuff after clicking a link. Not bad, considering that I average about $8/month commission from that affiliate. (Now watch me not get any commission for the next 9 months!)

My amazon sales have been increasing for two months. Last month was due to how I targeted amazon and the wording in the links that was used.

This month is simply due to the fact that amazon.com is THE christmas online store. They offer so much .... if you can get a targeted visitor to amazon this month you have a much better chance in converting due to the holiday.

Looking forward to the boost in pharmacy sales in January. I was thinking things would also be looking good in late winter and early spring for the diet pills ;-)
