One more thing, be grateful for getting you're already getting. Before the Web, you'd be out door to door or cold calling. Amazon's margins are already slim as it is, so be thankful they started and offer such a program. Blast away at this post if you choose, but that would only identify you as one of the whiners I speak about.

Does this mean that by responding I've doomed myself with a scarlet "W" for whining? ;)
Negatively branding anyone that might consider posting a differing perspective does nothing to encourage the dialogue which is at the heart of WebmasterWorld's mission statement [webmasterworld.com].
Diversity is the spice of life... thanks for sharing a bit of your own cayenne.

Good, because that's what many of the people here try to help others with; success. If someone has a blank page with "Click Here To Enter" link that goes straight to Amazon and they are complaining about conversions, most here will try to set that person straight. However, if someone has a site with some affiliate links and are having trouble getting click-throughs, we try to help that person the best we can without digging too much into information that they do not feel comfortable releasing into the public.
Dante_Maure has given you some good pointers in his post, so I won't belabour it the point, but I think you really need to have another read of this site.... there's very little whining going on, and it would be beneath the dignity of the board to rise to your 'blast away' challenge.
This is, without exception, the most positive and helpful board I've encountered.

Listen, I'm sorry if I offended anyone.
Kudos to you NeoSys!
I own an affiliate site and if you do it right, you can be very successful.
And I'm sure there are countless folks that can benefit from your experience.
Clearly you are passionate about what you do... and passion can often result in strongly expressed views. Heaven knows I've contributed my share of rants. ;)
In all fairness, there is indeed a fair bit of outcries from disgruntled webmasters to be found here. You'll find that most of the experienced members just steer clear of such pining, and do their best to contribute where it can be of service.
Once you get past the inevitable complaints about the injustice of it all, there is an invaluable well-spring of incredible wisdom, experience, and know-how to be found.
I'll be looking forward to your contributions to all that is best here at WebmasterWorld.
