How much do you figure?

How much is everyone earning per unique visitor for "type A" affiliate sites? The programs that I have seen in use generate anywhere from .05 for generic type programs to $1.50 for very competitive stuff.

Are there any particular industries that earn more per unique than others (without going into specifics)? i.e. health, travel, finance etc.?

um.. "Type A" affiliate sites? What is that?

I have been an affiliate for a software publisher and I make $0.2 per visitor.

Sorry about the non-clarification. Type A affiliates are the type that find a product and build a website around it strictly to earn as much as possible. Type B affiliates are the type that build a site first, then integrate affiliate programs into it to try to earn a little $$. Type A's for the most part are in the competitive industries, while type B's may or may not be in the competitve industries.

Yep :)
I have a type A software affiliate site that generates 20 cents per visitor.

And I'm really curious to know about the category that generates $1.50 per visitor. Which category is that?

Hello ... I've got sites that get:
around $1.5 per click
1.44 per click
0.70 per click
0.31 per click
0.14 per click
0.08 per click
and some lower ... like 2-4 cents
But it depends on the quality of the traffic ... for the .70 per click site ... some clicks get $1.5 approx and some get .30, depending on how targeted they are.

The sites that get high revenue per click are sites that people go for information to actually buy things ... the stuff that people actually buy on the web, and stuff with high revenue affiliate programs. I have not found many of these areas, but when i do find one ... i pounce!

My type A site gets about 40 cents a click, but then I know I'm not trying hard enough. :)

My type B site makes about 15 cents a click.
