My Affiliate Program - How do I become an expert?

Seeking Advice on Running a great affiliate program.

I am running an affiliate program where my goal is to place our ad on sites complementry to our business. The issue is that I have an extremely small amount of people on our team to promote the program. I have been reading the advice on this site (which has been helpful). We offer a click-through, and a bounty for every sign-up that is generated as a result.

My question is can anyone give me advice on how to learn as much about affiliate programs as possible? Are there certain reputable sites/services that can assist me with this? Is there anyone in this forum who might have some insight?

There are a lot of older threads in this forum, some probably a year or two old, with some great info about managing affiliate programs. Here is one of the more recent ones:

Use the site search to find more, or just dig through manually.

You can also ask your affiliates how you can do a better job, and be sure to answer any emails you receive.
