Hi

I am looking for a program or script to search out potential affiliate partners for my site.

Basically search the web given certain keywords then send the webmaster an email inviting him to take a look at our hopefully targeted affiliate program.

Why work when the robot can do if for you :)

I know there is a program called zeus that does something a little similar but is more geared to creating a reciprical links directory.

Anybody heard of anything similar to the above description?

Yes, you can use zeus to do this. However, I would advise against it.

Because the top 5% of affiliates that drive 95% of sales can smell a robot's work, and will hit the delete key faster than you make say "Make Millions."

Hand pick your sites, take a look at each site, and make genuine comments specific to it. Not just, "hey I found your site and my program for widgets would be a great fit." Those come in daily and are rarely worth looking at the merchant site.

Agree Drastic on the whole.

I already know the major players so to speak in my field and have already hand contacted them.

Smaller players however are time consuming to find.

Basic concept is approach the best sites manually then let the robot try and build up contact details for the more obscure sites on auto.
