CJ Developer Question

Hello,

I am developing some sites for re-sale, and wonder how to address this? I would like to get the site pre-set with affiliate advertising, and would like to create an account beforehand for the eventual buyer.

I would like to earn the % of the future earnings, but don't want to get booted from CJ for anything related to signing up under myself, clicking own links, etc. Is there any way to do this without violating any CJ rules?

I am not sure if that is feasible. Cj will only pay out to one person and company. Unless you are a holding company and only leasing these sites then I am not sure a % of affiliate sales will work. You are basically asking webmasters to have a franchise of your sites.

Why not develop with a view to selling to an e-comm site?

Build a site for widgets, stuff it full of great content about widgets. Get some affiliate links to buy-widgets.com and then when you have a steady position and income, approach Joe Widget and Sons

I think what Nick_W said hits the nail on the head. Although I do not fully understand the first principle (franchising?), it sounds a bit like placing the cart in front of the horse so to speak.
