Client is running on linux host and needs a good robust banner ad system for a high traffic site (500K pv a month). Currently looking at CentralAd. Is there anything else we should be looking at?

I would *highly* recommend PhpAdsNew. It can easily server millions of ads/month and have lots of extras.

Inside note: In near future geotracking will/might also be available :)

-- Edit --
I forgot to say that it is FREE!

Oil, I've been on CentralAd for almost 4 years. It'll easily handle the load and it's one of those "set and forget" programs. It's good enough that I bought a 2nd license to handle tiles. That said, unless something has changed in the last year, CentralAd's reputation for "nobody home" when it comes to support is infamous. It doesn't require php or mysql which might be a plus, depending on the client's setup. (Client?? Can't you break that bad habit? I thought I taught you better than that!)

Also, take a look at advertpro.com and adcycle.com

I use phpAdsNew. It's really overkill for my sites, but it's fast and uses PHP, so it was very easy to setup.
