Bid on banner ads

cheap, but not targeted

I wanted cheap banner ads, really cheap banner ads so I thought and thought and thought, then I thought eBay. People are selling 10,000 impressions for $5. Worth it? $.5 cpm. I dunno, just an idea, but even if its not targeted, its still 10,000 banner impressions right? Thoughts?

My first thoughts are to be able to track the impressions yourself somehow, and find out what kind of site(s) these impressions are generated on. Even though you are willing to go untargetted, are you sure you want your site/ads associated with the site topic? (is it warez/porn/mp3?)
