Today, I have learnt that I have finally made my first sale as an affiliate! This was done through a datafeed site with no promotion. I have waited a long time for this, I have been on the Internet for 4 years. With over 100 websites on 3 dedicated servers, I am hardly a newbie.

Having said that I found AM much more difficult than being a merchant, Adsense, CPM networks, and selling links. However, I am determined to crack AM once and for all........

I think that Affiliate website is not easy earning money.

Many website sell same product online. No niche market online.

Today you find a niche market. Torromow 10 or 100 people sell your product.

Because internet is not secrets.

Not true. Sort of.

My book site (Amazon driven) has earned me $1000 each month of this quarter so far. I wouldn't recommend you jump into books now though. I started 3 years ago, and it's taken its time to build up to where it is now.

But, Derek, congrats! I remember you were doing some ecommerce, then you bought some forums, and now you're doing AM. A first sale is only the beginning!

Hi Rfung

My main business is shipping physical products, but it is very demanding. We have got staff problems, rude customers, delayed shipments, unrealiable suppliers, credit card fraud to deal with. Worse of all, the hours are like a normal job and we are so tied down that it is impossible to take more than 5 days off. That is why I am quite determined to break into AM. I completely envy what you are doing in Europe.

Cheers
