Find Affiliate Programs

That convert well

i have been developing websites built around products i promote through affiliate programs for the past 2 years.

All my sites have quality content and get a lot of good targeted traffic. Now for the past 4 - 6 months conversions have gone down by 75% even though targeted keyword traffic still do come. The reason for which, i believe, is that the products that i promote have become "out of fashion" or absolete.

Now i have reached a stage where now i will have to look out for new products / new affiliate programs

Now where do i start? i am looking for 2 diffrent categories of affiliate programs

a)programs whose products sell huge volumes which have moderate commision

b)programs whose products sell small/medium numbers but with huge commision

can someone be kind enough to guide me or tell me which kind of products/ services i can promote?

or atleast how do i narrow down to my choices from 100s of affiliate programs / products available

it would be great if you can tell me your past experiences with products/programs

thanks and regards

Ahhh I see, you want everything every AM wants but you don't want to put the legwork in and go look for it ;oP

To be honest, without knowing your market it is almost impossible to recommend anything. I'm afraid that unless you tell us about your niche you will have to go join all the networks and find the progs for yourself.

Trouble is, if you do tell us about your market I don't think anyone will recommend a program to you.

Because big ticket items that sell well are normally found in the indie progs and if someone knows and is making a killing they aren't going to tell me, you or anyone about it.

Sorry, looks like you are going to have do what we have all done and go find the programs you are after.
If you can't find them they probably don't exist.

Ska, what do you mean by indie progs? Sounds kinda familiar, but could you please explain?

Indie == Independant

Not through one of the big networks like CJ, SAS, etc.

Either a deal between aff and merchant direct or through a smaller intermediary.

Least that's my understanding.
