Adding a second site to Amazon Affiliate Program.

What is Amazon's policy for using the Affiliate Program on a second site.

Hi!

I have a site that currently uses the Amazon affiliate program on it, but I primarily signed up to eventually use it on a second site that was being built at the time. My question is, do I have to do something special, like notifying Amazon, before I start placing products on my second page. Do they need to review the second page?

If so, how do I notify them? Who do I write to?

I use my amazon links on a number of sites and have always been credited with sales. The thing is, I don't use it on the site I signed up with. I think you are ok to use amazon on as many sites as you like.

No problem with having multiple sites under the same affiliate ID.
You should apply for some tracking IDs, which are extensions to your original affiliate ID. Using these tracking IDs, you are in the position to differentiate your sales (and also all other reports) by website or whatever criteria you set.

I'm pretty sure that Amazon used to ask that you notify them when you start showing links on a new site. As far as I know, that hasn't changed, but either way I really can't see them enforcing it.

I kind of remember seeing that too, when I signed up. The thing is, before posting this topic, I went looking around the Amazon site trying to find out who I was supposed to contact about adding a second site. I couldn't find any info.

Anyone know who I should be contacting?

I've been able to find an e-mail from [e-mail] thanking me for letting them know about new sites and giving me instructions. If you're really concerned, e-mail them. I don't think there's any need to worry though.
