Once you've listed with all the affiliate program directories and other niche areas, what's the best way to go about promotion your affiliate program?

I co-own a small ISP in Texas and we've gotten a few affiliates, but all from word-of-mouth.

So, beyond the directories .. what are some other outlets to really get the system moving?

Try emailing sites that might be interested. Make it personal and no bulk stuff. Maybe even partner with local businesses.
