Affiliate URL links in vBulletin forum message

Hi,

I am running a forum using vBulletin software.

I recently got approved as an affiliate to merchants in Linkshare network. I received an email confirming the affiliate approval, with some text links and banner links for advertising.

When I include those text links in my forum messages, using [URL][/URL] tags, they are not appearing in the posted messages. Why? But I am able to see it in the preview of the message. Strange!

Please can some advise me how to handle this.

I think this may something to do with allowing HTML in your posts rather than an affiliate string issue. I may be wrong but I have never had a problem posting URL's.
