I know the real answer to this question is test test test. Okay but I would like an experts overall opinion as to what they guess would work the best.
Affiliate program #1: payout 15% on total sales, most convert directly after clicking link Affiliate program #2: payout 7% but cookie lasts two weeks.

I'd go for #1, unless this is a very high-priced item, which might lead to shopping around, in which case a longer cookie is better. (Is there NO cookie on #1--it has to be an immediate purchase?)

Which has the most competitively priced products? A longer cookie or higher percentage doesn't make any difference if you can't sell the product.

Good point. Maybe I could switch it up where the cheap products that people buy would be directed to the 15% payout while the more expensive items have the cookie.
