Has anyone purchased targeted traffic from [snip]?

Do [these types of companies] really bring good traffic?

I think a lot of these companies are just selling popups and popunders, and the traffic is of little value.

You generally get what you pay for. $40 per 10,000 targeted visitors just sounds too good to be true.

I haven't tried these sources myself, anyone have any experience with this type of traffic?

I tried something like that for a while. I was looking for free signups and then paid subscriptions.

G would get as good as 1 in 15 free signups to clicks and then about 20% of free signups would pay.

From the "to good to be true" traffic sources which are just pop over/unders, I's get about 1 in 350 free signups and about 15% of those would pay eventually.

There is a reason the traffic is cheap but if it is cheap enough, it can be profitable.

Just make sure Elliot Spitzer doesn't get ahold of you if it's coming from some kind of nasty spyware.:)
