I have more sites offline(Furniture store, PDA store, houseware store, laptop store, digital camera store.....). Tomorrow I'm going to register some domain names.
Now I want to join an affiliate program. Is Amazon worth? I think their commision is 15%

I found this company [gateway.com...] They have an aff. program and they pay 6%.

Then these sites :
[laptopsforless.com...]
[tigerdirect.com...]

Can you guys recommend me good affiliate programs for these products?

Please help me,

I'm 16

Amazon gives only 4 percent commission on electronic stuff.

Amazon does not pay 15%. They once paid that on certain very specific types of purchases but they do not do so now.

Base rate is now 5% on everything except electronics, which is 4%. You can increase that if you sell enough items. Amazon works well if you have good, personally-written recommendations and information--using AWS to throw up a clone store won't get you anywhere.

But it takes work.

You can find quite a lot of information about the Amazon Associates program at the site--there's a link at the very bottom of the Amazon home page.

BTW, no URLs.....

If I'm not mistaken, Amazon has a $20 cap on all computer purchases. I'm not positive that it extends to laptops, but my guess is that it would. This may be something to keep in mind when considering amazon.

The cap on phot & electronics at amazon de is 10 Euro.
So an item I sold for 289 euro only brought me 10 Euro instead of the 23 Euro I had last quarter for the same item.
Anyway, it works, but needs a lot of work in preparation.

Even at 4% Amazon offers one of the best rates out there for electronics. Plus Amazon converts like clockwork.

The downside is the quarterly payments.

Conversion is definitely a big plus for Amazon. Many visitors to your site will already have an Amazon account, and even if they don't, they've heard of it. That's a big comfort factor.

I've also been told by people who buy computer stuff online regularly (I dont') that they have better return policies than many places. If so, that could be a selling point.
