Does anyone use them for contextual advertising?

I have been approached by a company called Nixxie offering contextual advertising in partnership with Overture. Their salesman claims they have a higher click through rate than Adsense and you get more money per click.

Has anyone got any experience of them? I had not heard of them before the phonecall.

Yep I've heard of them. They are using an overture feed wrapped in their own software that dynamically fits ads to your page.

They have some good guys on board, although they only launched fairly recently. Last time I spoke to them, they also had text ads showing comparison shopping results (from kelkoo) and auctions (from ebay) in the pipeline.

I have been contacted by them in the UK. Their offering doesn't match the hype on the website.

I doubt their volume will ever match their pitch.

My friend uses this and is very happy with the service and the management team in general. It's a start up, and so good luck to them. I am sure that they have spotted a niche in the market, especially since it is almost impossible to get anyone from OVT to even call you back, let alone get a deal. This can only be a good thing for the UK market, and maybe even Europe.
