CJ And Taxes

Hello.

I'm new to all this affiliate programs and stuff and I got recommended to Commission Junction. I was wondering exactly about the taxes and all.

Lets say I make $5,000 total. How much of that will I have to pay in taxes? and for how long?

Assuming you're in the US, you'll pay regular income taxes at whatever your rate is, plus the self employment tax (12.5% I believe) up to $90,000 in income. You can deduct advertising expenses and other stuff but should talk to an accountant about the particulars.
