Then, things started to go downhill...
Their IT situation has been a HARDCORE problem all off a sudden for the past two months.
Their web site is ALWAYS down. It is DOWN AGAIN as we speak. I was told 1 week ago that all the web site problems were identified and FIXED. I got a detailed email on what they did to rememdy the problem.
But this kills me.
When their web site goes down, all affiliates running google ads SUFFER by having their advertising costs massively inflated.
When a customer clicks on one ad, and see they can't get to the merchant site, they click all the damn ads and everybody pays, but gets NOTHING in return.
It was funny, we knew when their web site would be down just by looking at the fact that we would spend 3-4x more than normal on one day...
Anyhoo, just needed to vent...Merchants...Do the right thing and keep your web site running properly for those who invest in you...And IF THERE IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM, please tell the affiliates so they can halt advertising...That would be some courtesy...
Just mad because if they had their s**t together, the merchant and the affiliate could make money.
