Unable to verify company address

Hello,

Anyone else is having trouble registering in Linkshare's new system?

They are unable to verify company address. I just spoke with Customer Support rep, last time they gave me May 16th as the date when they will fix the issue. This time around they gave me nothing - just keep trying, they don't know when/if they get around to fixing it.

A couple of weeks ago Linkshare CSR told me, that if you or your business moved in last 6 months - they may have troule verifying your address.

I've tried adding this to other threads on topic, but they are all closed.

Yes, was on the phone with them for a while trying to get it straightened. They are having issues. It seems they are using Experian to verify data, and even though my company comes up exactly as listed on Experian's company search site, it won't validate. There is a bug somewhere.

You can still get to the member's area and bypass it though through "go to home page" link at the bottom.

There are lots of people having problems. I updated info when it first came out and then like others was unvalidated a few days ago. One big mess.

I just did a free search on Experian, and my company does not come up.

<rant>
Could someone in Linkshare actually think for a bit that this may happen? How many companies are getting registered a year? What about other countries?

This wouldn't be so bad if they wouldn't make payments dependant on this.

Funny enough other countries have an easier time of it as there is no social security or tax id info to be checked, US affiliates are having more difficulties getting Validated.

Cheers

Oh, wait, I get it...is this their unique way in "advising" affiliates to go register an offshore corp? :)

Well,

maybe its just me but I find the whole situation a joke.

1. A CSR told me you wont get paid till you get validated.

2. The validation program has a bug in it so you cant sign up.

3. Until the bug is fixed no payment!

This is the sort of service you would expect from two 16 year olds running a site from their bedroom.

I dont think the merchants are too overjoyed either.

I've had the opposite experience. I got paid, which seems to confirm my info. has been validated--and in fact I HAD updated it--but I just got an email saying I still need to confirm all my information. I went into the site, and it all seemed to be correct.

Weird.
