CJ payment amounts not processed?

Anyone else notice that CJ.com payment amounts are not processed for this month yet? Normally around the 14th they process the payment amount that is to be paid on the 20th, and removes the "estimate" link until payments are sent.

This month I noticed, along with all their other problems, that the payment amount has yet to be processed for our account. I wonder if this means that DD will be delayed again this month?

Nope, not yet. Did they have an outage they are correcting for last month?

Any idea when those first 2 were processed?

Still not processed here. I have e-mailed them as well. Since tomorrow is the 19th, and they usually start doing the DD on that day this is very much a concern.

At last, CJ payment has been calculated for April

They've been really squirrely lately.

For the last 3 months I've had some of my payments "extended" which I noticed by just what you said, the payments didn't get processed in time. Two of the advertiser "extended" my payments by two months! Not Cool! This is BS. These are large and very profitable companies so I would imagine that they have the money to pay. Plus, doesn't CJ take a bunch of money up front?

When I wrote CJ about it they said that this was because they hadn't received payment from the advertiser yet. To which I replied "then why do you allow them to keep advertising?" No response of course.

This may be coincidental and unrelated to what you are seeing, but I have been getting the feeling lately that CJ is just holding the money for themselves and may be having financial problems.

For as much money as they should be making they sure run the business like a fly-by-night organization. I wish there was a better option.

I also noticed the "estimate" amount includes both last months (apr) and this months totals as well. Odd.

Just talked to some rep who sounds all frustrated by phone calls...lol

He said they have issues with this month and last months number being added together and they are "working on the problem."

There *may* be a delay in payment if they don't get this worked out...

CJ ALWAYS having some problems...

Well, our oldest CJ account is now processed. However the other ones are not. I suspected they might be doing it by account # (age) and thus it's gonna be awhile.

And now for more news from CJ:

"Publisher Payment Status [Updated: May 19, 2005 2:00 PM PST]

Commission Junction always makes best efforts to issue payments to publishers on or around the 20th. Publisher payments for this month’s pay cycle are being issued between the 19th and the 23rd. If you are on direct deposit, note that the time required for direct deposits to post varies by bank. "

I love how they change their payment policy to coordinate with their technical issues.

Good job CJ. Way to build confidence in affiliate marketers!

I have always heard complaints about CJ more than anyone else..And this stuff clearly don't help.

CJ payment sent on 19-May-2005. The payments were sent as the earliest on 17th and the latest 20th each month for the last two years. No complaint here.

Well, "most" of our accounts are now processed. Apparently they are just going up by account # because that is the exact order they are being handled.

All have been processed (amounts determined), but it looks like all them are payment delayed due to this mess.

If it's not one thing, it's another.
