Plummet in Sales

Sorry if this is a newbie question, I am and it probably is.
I joined an affilate program for the first time on 1st March 05 and immediately started getting lots of very good leads every day till 29th March 05 when it fell off a cliff.
What happened...did I miss something?

what kind of program?
what kinds of sites do you ahve it on?

It was a well known UK firm.
The site was UK lawyer referrals for accidents.

Hmmm I saw a similar thing. Google did do a bit of a switch about and pr update. I lost a lot of legal leads from one site and another went up.
