Since yesterday, I have been unable to get to my LinkShare account. When I try with IE I get a DNS error page; when I try with Firefox I get the follwoing error:

"Firefox and ssl.linksynergy.com cannot communicate securely because they have no common encryption algorithms."

I sent an email through linkshare's contact us form yesterday, but have not received a response.

Can anyone else try the affiliate login from the linkshare.com home page and see if they're getting the same problem, or can someone give me a link that works?

Thanks!

I have been able to access Linkshare all the time lately...

It seems like your problem is with your two broswers. I'm not very experienced with browsers, but have you tried clearing cache, files and security settings/lists? This may help.

RonS, I'm having exactly the same problem. Just started today, never happened before ...

After receiving no response whatsoever from their "contact us" page, I called them this afternoon.

They suggested all the basic things... reboot the computer. Add their site (though they gave the WRONG SITE) to trusted sites. Reboot the computer again. All to no avail.

No other SSL sites or any other sites were affected. Everything else is fine. No other problems. But I could see the login page through megaproxy.com, and another member was not having any problems, according to his PM, and the url he forwarded to me is identical to the one that I am using.

I shut off my firewall. I shut off my antivirus. I shut both off. No luck. Then I decided to reboot my router and cable modem. For no reason, other than as a last ditch effort, and it worked.

Linkshare MUST have sone something strange to cause my (and maybe your) router and/or cable modem to behave this way. If it happens again, I'll investigate more in depth into what's going on in that hardware.

Good luck! Let me know if that works for ya.

They've had this problem before. When it happened before, one of their secure servers was misconfigured. It seems like it took them several days to figure it out last time, too.

It's definitely down, and it's a problem with their secure server... Typical LinkShare :(
