I'm receiving request from others to advertise on my site. I have no idea what to charge. I don't have the largest site in the world, not quite two years old, but growning: about 50,000 visitors a month; over 1000 subscribers to the monthly newsletter; about 500 pages of content.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

I would check other sites in your niche - you want to look for their "rate card", also check their traffic levels if you can.

If you site is extremely focused you can typically charge higher CPM's that a more general site.

find the top ppc bid for your focus area, and then charge them a fraction of that.

On one of my sites i get all my traffic from google, and charge 25% of what the top google bid is per click. It works very well - everyone seems to be happy.
