Adwords/Go Click PPC to Affiliate Links

im a newb to the whole affiliate marketing arena. i just signed up on CJ. im really good at optimizing PPC campaigns so I was wondering are you able to drive PPC traffic directly to affiliate URLs?

i've heard people say creating multiple websites with adsense and affiliate links and promoting them on adwords is how they make the big $$$. But do high earners or affiliate marketers in general use adwords or ppc engines like go click to directly promote their affiliate programs?

Some people including myself send clicks direct to the merchant thru the affiliate link. It is normally a good way of testing an aff prog before putting too much time, effort and money into it. It is possible, nonetheless, to profit quite nicely from direct to merchant PPC.
