Publishers - where can I find you?

Besides CJ which networks do you favor?

I have a client who is kicking off an AM program but doesn't want to sign a 1-year contract / $XXXX monthly minimum with CJ or Linkshare right off the bat.

So I figured I come right to the source and ask you guys for advice on networks. What works for you? Where would you sign up if you were a merchant?

And what can we - as merchants - do to help you?

I think publishers get screwed a lot and I just want you to know there are good advertisers out here who sincerely want to reward you for your efforts.

Thanks

Since at this time you don't want LS or CJ then you probably don't want Performics either. You might try one of the smaller networks, i like shareasale out of that bunch. Or you can just do it yourself, open up an indy program. Personally, i don't care where the merchant is at if i can get them to produce for me. But as a merchant if you go the indy route you will spend more time on the recruitment part, joining a network will put you in front of a lot of affiliates right away.

One thing:
No matter who do you choose as your affiliate partner, just confirm every sale with the publisher too.
This would completely eliminate any possible rip-off of the publishers.

I agree with TrustNo1, large networks although have many affiliates that they will put you infront of often are not as targeted as either an indy program or some of the smaller networks. I would suggest looking at networks such as Darkblue, OfferForge, NetBlue, etc.

I agree with Trust and most of the affiliates I know like Shareasale.
