Reverse Affliliate Program?

Hey All-
Does anyone know if exists a program that will allow users to advertise their links on my site that pay a percentage of the order generated? I would like to find something that can be housed on my end, where users can create an account, add their links and cc info. Then when an order is generated from clicking a link on my site, my site will get the commission and charge the users credit card when it hits like $100 or something. Any ideas or thoughts? Thanks.

Interesting concept. Sort of like having the merchant come sign up on the individual site. I've never seen exactly this type of software, it's a bit of a paradigm shift.

Technical hurdles would be that you would have to rely on the merchant to set up their order page to send the order information to you. This is something merchants typically use an affiliate network for - so they will only have to set this up once for many sources of traffic.

Yeah... basically I have a directory of links that go through CJ.com right now. But, I am getting a lot of requests from users who are not on CJ that want to list their links on my site but dont have an affiliate program . One solution would be they could get an affiliate program, but I dont want to rely on them sending me payment. I want to take the payment from their CC as outlined. System would be intelligent enough to make sure the invoice script is in fact in place... so the user does not remove it.

You might want to charge CPC for the the merchants who don't have affiliate programs.

uh, why not just charge them an advertising fee for a link?

Charging a "fee" for a link would limit the revenue possibilties.

true, but otoh, you don't know if a link with an affiliate program will convert. Not to say that it won't, but there's a certain safety/risk management when you know you're getting paid a monthly fee month in an out.

Also it figures that the likelyhood of some of these merchants setting up an affilite program might be remote at best.

I see your points, keep in mind that the advertiser will be listing on average over 2000 links. So the chances of them generating an order are great. Basically, since the "ROI" script on their invoice is fired dury every order, we will know if they took it off their invoice screen or not. I am basically trying to find a way to manage the commision side of things without have to setup affiliate accounts with each merchant on "their" site. I dont want to have to log into 35 affiliate accounts every week to check the progres and payout amounts.
