Good advertiser for a

I have a Incentive based site "IE like the free ipods thing" and have a lot of members and am number 1 and 2 for good search terms in search engines.

So heres my "problem" or dilema. I have 200 dollars (not alot) and need to get more people to my site, What is a good company, (advertiser) that can do a good job in getting members to my site, and sign up, Since its a incentive site, and gives away stuff, it is more for the "teen" demographic, so I was wondering what you guys think I should use.

print a bunch of flyers and post them at local high schools... you'd be surprised at how many of those kids will visit your site... and it's cheap to do.

also put a big "mywebsite.com" sticker on your car. It's also cheap and people will visit.

Depending on what it pays per lead/signup/whatever, I'd highly recommend spending that $200 on PPC (pay per click) marketing. Check out Overture and Google AdWords. Seems like it's a bit of a competitive market for that type of thing, but maybe you can find a nice niche and make some money.

Its a good "niche" Like i said, im rank 1 on a VERY good search term, and get many organic hits (which is good) so i guess overture and adsense are my best choices? I guess ill choose them, also whats a good amount to offer per click, remember i have a 200 dollar budget.

I'll start by answering your question: bid the smallest amount you can!

You might want to try a little trick to save you money on PPC... most people make ads that attract clicks, they want to get a visit (makes sense...) but try this instead:

If you have a very brandable or easy to remember domain name, try displaying your domain name as the ad, in hopes that people will REMEMBER it and visit later, for FREE!
(it does work, ever noticed that many banner ads are more geared at brand marketing and NOT lureing you to click?)

PS: If you already have good Search Engine position and click throughs, then wouldn't you be wasting money advertising on the SEs? Just a thought.

I run a site in a similiar market to what you do. I have a website that essentially offers the same thing that yours does, but mine is a different manufacturer.

One thing that will get you free traffic is to go onto forums for people that use this kind of product. Or just find some general gaming sites that has a very active forum. Register an make a brief note in your signature that says something like

---------------
Want a free ******, then click here

Just make sure you don't violate the TOS of the particular site. Most gaming forums don't mind as long as you're not spamming all the threads just to post your siggy.

This costs you nothing except a little bit of time. And you might be able to get a few other opportunities through this :)

My site does not rank very well in the serps becuase I'm focusing on other projects, but I'm very active in 3 different forum sites dedicated to the games for the product and alot of people click through. No seo and I'd say the site clears about 200 uniques each week, not bad for only 15 mins/day :)
