I hate to say I am a newbie , but I am.
Though I have been here in the WW community for long time ,I am just in the verge of launching my first datafeed based (affiliate) website which focuses on not a quite niche product line, but I am going to promote to potential customers through some targets.I agree I am not shooting for big $ atleast with this website. But I want to share my thoughts and get some advice if I am not driving in the right direction.
A quick intro about what I have done so far: I developed couple of small websites(news/and game based tool) and getting around 100 hits/day.
To get a feel of keyword maketting.I did some PPC in Adwords and directed the clicks to the vendors (Amazon and CJ vendors) , thru a redirect from my web page.Spent a measly $11 and made around $6 ):..
To start with I created a simple web site with Amazon feed fueled databased being updated daily basis. Apart from Amazon I am going to add some more merchants soon.
I am planning to launch 2 more sites with less competetive product line after this.
Here I am looking for your valuable feedback ..is data feed the right way or do I need to divert to content based websites..
Thanks
