We have combined hits of about 5k a day over quite a few different subject areas. We have some success with the site but have never had any real affiliate success. Was thinking about putting click bank affiliate products across the site, carefully selecting one per niche and writing positive reviews. It's going to be time consuming and rather than avoid another disappointment, I wondered if anyone had any thoughts on how successful it might be.
I assume with clickbank they have to buy first time. Do people do this?

I have picked up products through affiliates running clickbank ebooks . . . so that at least tells me it works at some level

My understanding is that Clickbank is prone to affiliate commission hijacking. I signed-up for a high paying affiliate program with them last year. At first the results were great, but quickly started to deteriorate.

I know a way of pushing obscene amounts of money from clickbank, but it only works for very short periods of time :( I can do really well with a product for about 2 weeks and then it bottoms out.

But clickbank is quite reliable I think. I've never had issues with them paying out and it's always on time (except for christmas in 2004. they were about 3 days late sending my check).

I've never had any real problems with them though :)
