Newsletter signup Commission?

I'm out of ideas...

I've got a web site that by nature is good at getting people to sign up for newsletters. The thought recently occurred to me that maybe I could find an affiliate program that paid per new signup for their newsletter. I've looked through CJ and couldn't find anything. I also contacted a few companies that looked like they were trying to promote their newsletter heavily, and they loved the idea, but they weren't willing to pay anything for the signups.

It seems like there should be a market for this. Am I missing something here? Can anyone suggest how I can capitalize on this asset?

Thanks....

Iam sure you'll find several.

I came across a good many during my earlier searches for aff programs to join earlier this month, I just couldn't exactly point to you where because I don't exactly remember where - its not the type of progs I was looking for so it didn't register.

Try nettraction or clickxchange. I spent a lot of time there searching. Maybe I saw these newsletter signups prog there. I think they pay in the vicinity of 25c per validated email.

Hmmm, didn't really see what I was looking for. Anyone else?

Why don't you just offer the service yourself rather than go through affiliate programs? Pick a price and offer to generate newsletter signups for that price. Require a deposit equivalent to about what you think you could generate in a month. Deduct from their balance as you generate signups. Require that they maintain a positive balance to continue to receive signups. It sounds pretty simple to me. I'm sure it would be a service that many people with newsletters would use, as long as they are quality signups.
