Ive launched my website Jan 1,2003. Its a dating website. (www.FlyGuyCrew.com)Ever since my traffic has been increasing, but not as fast i would like to increase. I look at my competition and they are grwoing rapidly. What em i doing wrong? i mean i do offer premium membership, which i do make pretty good cash. But what are some tips you guys can provide to drive like 50,000+ uniques everyday to the site. I dont have massive amount of funds to invest into advertising. What are some like schemes, or maybe iam missing little things, like referral programs, etc.. feedback appreciated :)

The problem you have is that you are in a cut throat market and advertising for it is extremely difficult. There are so many similar sites that you'll struggle to get a good placing in any search engine and search engine placements or massive advertising campaigns are the only way to really boost hits fast.

What sort of hits are you currently getting? Who do you use to publish adverts with? Have you shopped around and looked for a better publisher etc?

Yea i know its a thought market. I do around 15-20,000 uniques a day. What do you think about banner networks. Like pay companies to put my banner in their network so it can be displayed on other dating websites. Could it also be that i offer premium membership and members get scared of paying?
