Most you can Make off 1000 impressions?

Say you have a site(entertainment) that gets 50,000 page views a day not counting purchases of products thru affiliates (amazon, etc) how much could you make through pop-unders and banners. I was thinking around 6-10$/1000 impressions? Is this roughly accurate?

For a typical entertainment site, I think it's usually closer to $0.25 per 1000 impressions, although it varies quite a bit depending on the quality of the traffic and number of uniques. A good affiliate site can earn an effective $50 to $100 per 1000 impressions and sometimes considerably more.

That low? By entertainment I mean the industry (movies/tv), not sure if that was clear. I was thinking of a few pop-unders @ $3/1000 impressions, hence the $6 estimate.

Now to affiliates. My site viewers have an EXTREMELY HIGH probability of purchasing a DVD or CD on the site's topic. Is the best thing to do just throw up the amazon links and pray that the users click thru? Is there a better way to do this?

Finally, what other affiliate programs would be good for a tv/movie industry site?
