Ok so I have been studying AM for a while know and I think I am starting to understand the basics of how to make money on paper. Just go back and look at the posts on this forum and they describe exactly the framework to follow to be successful.

I am of the mind to work in something that I am very interested in. I love cars, specifically I really like performance cars of all types.

My question is how do I bring something to other people that like performance cars that makes them spend money. My only thoughts are to create a ecommerce site but I am not quite that savvy and personally thats a lot of customer service.

Does anyone care to offer a simple excersize of how to make this idea profitable? My thoughts are limited to offering adsense or basic affiliate programs.

Is the plan to add all articles about performance cars I can find to get indexed?

that you can find, or that you can write yourself. you can create a forum for performance car discussion, or a site where tuners can post their own recipe for performance, or photos of modded cars. Once you have the eyeballs/traffic, you can put affiliate links to performance car part merchants, amazon mechanic books, techno/hiphop/whatever tuners listen to music, etc...

the path to that is long, but no one said this thing was easy.

As someone who is interested in performance cars, what would compel you to visit a site, tell your friends about it, return to it regularly, etc.? Once you answer that question, it'll be clear what to put on your site.

Are you interested in articles? I doubt it.

Are you interested in buying a performance car? Probably not. You already have one.

Are you interested in putting up pictures of your performance car, telling people what you've done to soup up your car? Probably.

Are you interested in buying magazines about performance cars? Perhaps.

Are you interested in buying performance products for your car? Perhaps.

Include all the things that you would look for in a site about performance products. Some of this will draw visitors. Some of this will make money. Some will do both. It's all important.

Consider a performance car part review website. Review popular performance parts, and sneakily add affiliate links for the parts you're mentioning.
