I registered with both adsense and adsonar in Sept 04 and was approved by adsense 2 days later and have been with adsense ever since. Since oct, I find my overall CPC with adsense steadily dropping each month.

After almost 5 months, I got an email from adsonar informing me of their approval.

Does anyone here use adsonar and what is your experience with them? Thanks for your help!

Thanks Kodaks

Although it is disappointing to see my CPC falling on adsense, I think I will stick with adsense anyway.

I've only been with the adsense for 4 months so it is too early to make any assessments. I feel it can only get better from here on out as the new aff rules get over the initial hurdle.

@kempozone - It's my first month with AdSonar and I cant really complain about the revenue, I'll just wait until the end of the month to see if I'm gonna get paid. If you ask me it's the best AdSense alternative out there.

I love their interface and all the possiblities you have with designing your ad layouts and etc...
Make sure you have at least 50% of US visitors, I've noticed everytime when US vistior quota drops by few % your average CPC drops drastically.

Neverthless if I get paid with AdSonar I'm defintely going to stick to them.

@driris - make sure you contact AdSonar regarding this issue ;)

I just got accepted by adsonar after about 5 months since I applied. It took a few days for them to get the ads having anything to do with my topic (health). We'll see how it goes. So far it doesn't look like the ads are paying much. A couple only paid a cent. Might be a good time for some of you advertisers to sign up.

We use adsonar for about 6 months now.

On average it produces about 1/3 of what adsense does per 1000 page impressions, but for some pages/sites, where google gives several cents per click, adsonar outperforms adsense.

I would say my CPC rate is constant, and it usually varies by 5cents tops (more or less).

I'm happy with my AdSonar performance, with AdSense I never knew where I was. And advertisers are top-brand names like microsoft, toshiba, dell etc... Well at least that's for my site's category which is "technology". And I would definetely say that AdSonar beats AdSense, I dont use any standard or suggested ad formats. They simply look like any regular links, without ads by link or anything.

Works great for me, I just hope I dont jinx it with all this talk :P Have to wait few more days to see if they are actaully paying and etc...
