One of the stores I promote currently has something on their front page like...

Now through blah blah we are running a special offer...To take advantage of this great offer you MUST PLACE THE ORDER OVER THE PHONE...

Really makes me want to send them traffic I won't get credit for.

Yep - stuff that. I'd request a customised landing page minus the phone number or drop them if you have another merchant with excellent performance in the same category.

I understand why they do it, but it strikes me as greedy (it is business though, so I guess I don't blame them).

the other is merchants who place other affiliate program banners on their landing pages
