In your opinion, how important is to provide "money back guarantee" as related to conversion rate when selling informational product?

Thanks

Informational product? Very important. It also doesn't cost you much at all(the merchant fees only) to provide that guarantee.

Also, to a degree, the longer that guarantee lasts the less likely the person will be to act on it as there will be less urgency and eventually they will forget about it. 2-3 months is a good length.

I very much agree with ggrot. You can make it 3 month or a year it dosent really matter that much. Most people never use the option. It will only be a very small percentage and it don't cost you anything.

Also, what kind of feeling do you want people to walk away with. What do you want them to tell their friends?

- I wasted my time and money on that book

or

- I wasted some time on that book. But the merchant gave me all the money back. That's the kind of guarantee I like. No risk shopping experience :)
