Hi everyone,

I need to ask advice on banner schemes and companys. How do I get into a CPM scheme, who is the best to go with? I am a web developer for a living and build corperate websites etc, but I have never had to get involved with setting up ad schemes.. that would all be done by the company, they then say "here is the ad code required".

Now, the company I now work for have their own very large network of sites that started a few months ago, because of server problems nothing was ever setup.. there's banners there but they arent actualy paying ones. I also allowed them to add my extremely popular site to their network in order to benifit the company. Basicaly I have to get this Ad Network setup.. showing banners on all the sites the network consists of. Currently we are recieving over 1 million hits every month and server costs freaten to cripple us... how much can be re-couperated through banner ad's? Where do I go? Who do I go with? Over 1 million hits per month with no ad revenue is a collosal waste... please advise me :)

Best Regards,

In the US, 1M impressions per month will net you $250 to $600 depending on the site and ad broker (Burst or Engage).

Hi,

Thanks for the link. I had a brief look there before and that site is confusing as hell :)

I couldnt find anywhere to submit info or attempt to sign-up to them.. it all seemed to be for people that want to advertise with them, ie; I pay them to show my banner on other sites. Dont suppose you could tell me where abouts to head on their site? Do they require a phone call or something? Just doesnt appear to be anything there for me to sign up to...
