I'm just getting wind about another competitor on the block. Am I correct to assume that it would be against Adsense TOS run adsense ads AND these other ones on the same pages?

Interesting going after a niche like blogs. Might work.

I just tested them out on my test page using the example code on their website. They look very similar to Adsense although the code I had was generating non-topic standard ads. I may sign up and give 'em a try. I hope that within the next 12 months there will be lots of (better) alternatives to Adsense...

I'm just getting wind about another competitor [to AdSense] on the block. Am I correct to assume that it would be against Adsense TOS run adsense ads AND these other ones on the same pages?

According to the Google TOS:

We do not permit Google ads or search boxes accessing Google search services to be published on web pages that also contain what could be considered competing ads or services.

Seems pretty clear that it would be a violation of the AdSense TOS to have both ads on the same page.

who?

Could it be CrispAds ;-)
