Lifetime Commissions - What Programs Are Working For You

Anyone had any experience with any of the dating affiliate programs that offering "lifetime commissions".

I have a couple of "subscription-based" programs offering around 50% for the lifetime of the customer. None of these programs convert very well for me.

The programs that pay up front do much better.

Moral of the story - Many Merchants try to get you in the door with an attractive offer like lifetime commissions, but seldom do they actually convert. You end up sending them a lot of FREE traffic and getting NOTHING in return.

Most of the merchants offering this type of deal are small players with in-house programs. I have yet to see anybody in CJ, or Linkshare offering this.

I was in the dating arena a few years ago and did recieve recurring commissions, though not near as much as other areas.

Web hosting is a good category to look at if you are looking at customer lifetime commissions. The possibility of a customer lasting for a long time is higher with web hosting.

There are a few debt consolidation programs that offer percentage of fees earned by the merchant every month (the customer and hence the affiliate payments last for around 12 - 18 months).
