Currently I have been playing with Ebays and Amazons Affiliate API service and I am finding that they are helping me. Does anyone know of any other affiliate programs where the inforamtion needed to create adds can be retreived via API?

I've found that most bookstore sites will have a url you can query to get price and other book information. Amazon really pushed the envelope here and has forced their competitors to follow suite.

Unfortunately that has not been the case across other industries. The most you'll find is that they may have a product feed that can be downloaded in excel format.

Understandably as well, most small merchants do not vary the price as frequently or with the product scope of the big players, so the need for such technology is diminished.

Several companies have auto datafeed type tools like this available in various formats. I knowwone company that has around 30 merchants set up with one tool and another company that has around 10 merchants. I know of 2 other companies as well offering free tools like this, but am not as familiar with them. Some of them offer dynamic product feeds, some static, some java, some XML. Most offer numerous layout and formatting options. Some are extremely customizable to avoid dup penalties even though they let you whip up a thousand product site in about a minute, it can have pretty unique look and content.

Hope this helps and best of luck!
