I found these forums a few weeks ago and I've become interested in entering the world of affiliate sales myself. I have an idea for a website, nothing too special just CD's, DVD's and such. In planning to create this site, I've got a pretty big concern: Would I have to add all the items I want on my site to a database one by one, or is there an easier way to add hundreds of CD's to a database off of an affiliate's site? I'm pretty computer literate, but this is my first real attempt at being a webmaster. Any help at this would be great, thanks in advance.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld!

Quite often merchants will have a datafeed that you can work with. What you do with that data after reciving the file can either make you some good $$, or mark your site as a duplicate if other affiliates use the same datafeed and do not use different templates.
