through CJ not working

Ebay links through CJ seem to be down
anyone else seeing this?

yes I have noticed this also. Although it appears to me CJ.com is down entirely.

Yeah, I can't get to CJ at all. No ads being served either.

Getting lots of DNS failures today in general.

Huh, just one nameserver listed in whois. Intersting. So far failure from Boston, and Seattle.

This at the peak of the holiday shopping season. Ouch.

CJ's whole website appears to be down hard.

On Linkshare, I just signed up for a few new affiliates and just got code directly from the Linkshare site and on both I get a messages saying, "You have clicked on a link that has expired or been deactivated." etc. etc.

Makes me wonder if the large affiliate sites are able to scale to meet the demand for affiliate programs (With all the affiliate ads out there, I'd imagine the scale is huge and difficult to manage).

I haven't been able to get into CJ all morning. I'm in San Diego. LinkShare seems to working though.

I think this is more sinister, CJ wouldn't be down just because of traffic issues. I would think it is a denial of service attack of some description.

Pause those adwords campaigns folks.

Clarification:
A lot of affiliates run PPC direct to CJ links. Today that is like throwing money away. Nothing wrong with adwords otherwise

I can't get in. I'm trying to access CJ.com from Salt Lake City, UT. All of my affiliate images are not showing up, none of the affiliate links work. However, some of my colleagues can access the site. This is indicative of a DOS attack.

If it is a dDOS then it will probably be spotty.

One of my CJ ads is down, and the site apparently is too.

Definitely discouraging, but thankfully I have other income streams

They are back online but do we know if there tracking is reporting again? I clicked on my links hours ago but they are not showing up as clicks at all being made in CJ in the reports. I don't want to risk sending transactions into CJ until I know they will be tracked accurately again.

I've generally experience spotty response from many sites today. Probably due to something more network-wide than a DOS attack against CJ. But who knows?

I'm getting the home page from NYC but cannot login @ 1835 EST. Of course it could just be #*@%& Verizon's fault.

Official word from CJ is that the were "recently experiencing intermittent availability due to Internet connectivity"

Pretty vague, more to come I guess.

I've had a few major companies be "unavailable" over the past week or so. Tracert was stopping around No.3 which is just awful, sometimes switching IP works, sometimes nothing does.

Interesting point is though that yesterday if you typed in www.cj.com into the web browser the MSN "site does not exist" template came up. Big DNS problem, I don't think it was CJ that was having the issues I think something bigger was hit.
