CJ Sales update frequency

How often does CJ update their sales statistics figures?

Hi All,

I've joined CJ recently and was just wondering how frequently they update their sales figures. The "clicks" seem to be going real-time - but I'm now at the stage where I'm starting to wonder about whether I'm simply not converting or something else technical is wrong.

About a 100 clicks now, without any money in. This with some programs that only require leads (and not high-end ones such as "loans" either). Is this normal. Only been at it 2.5 days though.

Cheers,

I think it depends on the actual program within CJ that you are advertising. Some seem to update several times a day (not sure if it is "real time" or just periodically) while others seem to only update once a day.

This is perfectly normal. There could be 101 reasons why you don't have any conversions yet. Most programs post in real time, however some do batch post their transactions. It does depend on the program.

When you are first getting started with a new affiliate program, it's not uncommon to have lower than usual conversion rates. You will need to fine tune your campaign over the next few weeks to improve conversions. If you don't get a conversion after 200 clicks or more, I would start to worry...and then make some changes :)

Thanks. I'll just hang in there for a week and see how things go. :-)

Just a follow-up for some closure.

Got some conversions for one of the advertisers I'm promoting. And at least I'm making money! :-D

There are still a few other not converting, especially one with around 300 clicks now - but they are big and I know they do batch reporting. So we'll wait and see - fingers crossed. ;o)
